'Ia ora na, Welcome to Rau Tama Nui under the direction of Julian (Manaari'i) Genilla, Group Director

Group Director Julian "Manaarii"Genilla born and raised on the island of Maui, began drumming with Tetua Ioane of Tamaeva Arii. His experience expanded to Teata Ura, studied under Tapo Aroquime before finding his home with Rau Tama Nui.

Instructor Alexis Genilla, Dancing since the age of 13 studied under Tapo Aroquime for 4yrs. Alexis then began her instruction under Julie Charles since 2011... Alexis is an established Soloist achieving 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Titles along with being involved in Group Ahuroa Competetion winning 1st, and 2nd Place.

Instructor Lassen Genilla, Dancing since the age of 10 under Tapo Aroquime for 4yrs. He than began training under Jonathan Ludivico. Lassen has become an established Solosist winning numerous competitions winning 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place along with multiple Overall Titles in Jr. and Senior Advanced Solo categories. Lassen recently competed in Tahiti November 2018 at Ori Tahiti Nui winning 2nd Place.

Rau Tama Nui (Children of many cultures) is a group with all ethnics involved. Rau Tama Nui continues to grow in the Las Vegas area and we invite you to stop in for a visit. We encourage you to visit all the area groups to find the best fit for you
